Pandemic greetings!

Dear unknowns on the streets of tomorrow, 

Soon after life resumes normalcy

with masks and gloves

and sanitised hands,

while standing on the ground 

in perfectly drawn circles,

waiting for our turn

patiently, 

we’ll exchange a glance, 

and try and imagine the rest of one another 

patiently

and behind the veil of protection,

we’ll exchange a smile,

patiently

analysing the visible contours

of our faces

may be then 

we’ll understand the profundity

of every XOXO that was devoid of thought,

patiently.
